I am also covered when a passenger or am driving another vehicle, My van however ins eligible as it is being used for business and classed as a commercial vehicle. So realistically, it’ll cover me driving wife’s car (or when I am a passenger and she’s driving it) and my bike.
If I take out a policy with my insurance then it is £62. I haven’t as of yet looked in great detail what it does or doesn’t include. more homework to be done.
I hate that time of year when policies need to be renewed. I’ve let my BeMoto policy lapse as off this this coming Thursday, £675 they wanted for their titanium policy. So I am taking one (i think, haven’t settled on taking or leaving optional bits) out through a comparison site, with only personal injury cover and that come to £361 with £0 excess contribution and £350 compulsory.
