Looks like you'all had a good day oot....

I rode back from Motorrad Central this avey having relieved myself of the best part of £400 for a service and replacement part needed to keep CC2 alive and kicking.......

That said, it could have been alot worse but for the generosity of the manangement at Central allowing me to take advantage of their agreed winter rates even though spring has clearly sprung....:thumb

They are withoot doot onside and thankfully staying put....;)

Single cask Macallan finished in a Calvados cask; exquisite:thumb

PS. 1150 owners must be deprived , most have us don't have immobilisers:tears. There again we rarely seem to be immobilised:D

Here Andy, is your bike a kind of sickly coloured orangey and black?
If it is not, I have to confess that I saw a 1200 being carted on a trailer with a recovery truck in front of it, going eastwards along the Edinburgh City Bypass around 4ish. I did a double take to see who was in the passenger seat of said recovery truck, but it was empty, and I thought of you.
There is a lovely woman at MC East, who keeps telling me that it is inevitable and that one day I will have a 1200 - how I laugh every time she tells me.

Nice day for a run out. A bit perky here in the Borders on leaving just after 9 this morning. Sunny from Edinburgh up. But, cold and slippy returned as I came home again. Nice to see you all again.
Unfortunatley I missed a Church coffee morning today, and I'm told takings were up. :aidan

Glad you all had a good run and meet.

Skye and I spent most of the day trailing round motorcycle shops trying to find her new trousers. In true tosser style she keeps outgrowing her trousers  Spotted a cracking pair at Forth Gear in their sale but she didn't like them. No luck today but hopefully might pick something up at the motorcycle show.

Her mum is getting her for a few hours tomorrow afternoon so hopefully get out on my bike for a run. Was out all day on Tuesday right till late at night and it was great despite the cold.

Sorry to hear about your immobiliser problem Andy :(

Robmack (a' the way fae Skye) deep in thought aboot somethin'...

So thats what the back of my bike looks like :D

Thats a good picture Den. I took pictures 'on the move' in Spain and Morocco last October with an old Nikon Coolpix 4800 mounted on the handlebars, but a lot of them suffered from vibration. Is your camera mounted on the bike or was in a hand-held shot (in this cold ) ??

p.s. The Coolpix 4800 didn't survive the fine dust blowing around the sahara and I had to bin it when I got home :blast.

Bob.

Looked like a good day

Once my house move is over I'll be back as a regular:D

It is mounted on one of these ram things. Incidently, It was while I was fiddling with the camera ... Ronnie stopped. The back of your bike would now look slightly different if I hadn't looked up in the nick of time.
That pic was the only one which turned out. Here is an example of what the others looked like.
