In case im not the last person in the universe to realise this, the OEM Bridgestone A41 on the 1290 SAR are shite.
I’ve just fitted a new set of Conti Trail Attack 3 and it’s transformed the bike.

I now realise the Bridgestones tramlined, were both twitchy and slow on the front, were noisy and wouldn’t hold a line.

I’m sure everyone else knew this already, but just in case.

The new Conti’s are stable, quicker turning, not twitchy, don’t tramline and hold a line.

Exactly as I found - was almost a relief when I got a puncture in the rear tyre and changed them for TA3's ;)

I’ve had opposite experience and really liked the A41s on my r1150gsa’s but they were not original fit so may be a different compound

My Tiger Rally Pro came with Bridgestone A41s. I got around 5500 miles out of them and they were fine on the roads but not very good off road. I would suspect that very, very few on here can find the limits of any modern tyre on the road. I replaced the A41s with Anakee Adventures which were great on the road and pretty good on the gravel, dirt roads in Norway last year.

I must admit the A41 has been good on the front especially in the wet. Admittedly it does not have the direct turning feel of the CTA3. Anyway I have 5k on mine. (1250 GS). Front has 1k left I reckon but rear looks like a load more.

Tyres are such a personal thing, I hated them as OEM supplied A41 tyres on my Tiger and couldnt wait to get them off, Anakee Adventures gave 100% more confidence on road. I don't know if the spec of the OEM ones are different, but I vowed never to use these tyres ever again :D. None OEM AX41's however were fabulous, but didnt last long.
