LED wont do squat for you. They look brighter so can be seen easier but they dont have the light output of even a stock bulb. If you want to see with them then fit a hid kit.
See Mr Wassall of this parish. You want 3000 waters from him. Little bit of DIY work to fit them in standard BuMW aux lights but nothing too tearing if you take your time. Light uot put is fearsome...
Does he want to see with them or be seen? If it's the latter, then HID upgrade is best. If its the former, chuck them away and buy a proper after-mark spot light. With a fisheye lense as comes standard, you'll never get a concentrated beam pattern - just a lot of out-of-control light.
I can recommend Mr Wassall.
I got a kit from him for my GSA fogs which included right angled burner bulbs and the wires to connect to the GSA harness so there was no modification to the bike required. So everything can go back to standard if you sell the bike.

I agree. I'm quite happy to admit I'm not very knowledgeable on the subject of bike lighting but I do know the LEDs we have on our GSA - Kristas and Glendas - are excellent; lots of light and instantly on unlike the main beam HID.
