Brisk Misfire

I have recently serviced my 1150gs single spark, fitted a set of brisk plugs sold as "make it run better honest guv". anyway they cause an internittent misfire normally just as your trying to get away from the lights or you crack it open to overtake! So i have taken them out and put the original plugs back, it now runs fine, we have since put the plugs in my mates 1150gs and his runs better with the Brisk plugs.
has anyone else had similar experience with these plugs?
is there somthing wrong with my motor?
both bikes have K+Ns fitted with Y pieces and aftermarket cans but my mates has been chipped

Brisk bollox !

Had a similar experience with Brisk plugs in my '97 1100, went very intermitent on me and eventually would only run on one cylinder. Replaced plugs with some for a Ford Fiesta and normal service was resumed.

Sent 'em back to Motorworks and got a refund but no explanation.

I've had trouble with Brisk plugs with missfiring and when I investigated found that the HT leads had 'welded' themselves to the spark plug nipples. Sent them back to motorworks.
The plug on the right was a Bosch that had suffered from the ceramic core comming away from the steel body causinb blowby and melting the HT lead.
