As posted in a reply in another thread:
I worked it out to be about £350 each way, using Portsmouth to St Malo or Caen overnight. 2 nights in a hotel and fuel to get to Pau.
To get a price that matches than on the Santander ferry you have to a) use the shorter Plymouth route b) book very early. By doing this, booking in July 2025 for Sept this year, my Early Bird ticket paid up front is under £480.
I had an email a couple of days ago saying the 2027 timetable will be released earlier this year. Anyone wanting to get the best Brittany Ferries price for next year needs to register for email updates for when the booking opens.
J B it is getting a bit daft i priced up the Santander route for us, and i believe i could do it from Calais to Santander riding all the way including 3 hotel stops and fuel for less than the sailing, admitedly i would have to add more time to my trip but for me thats easy as i am retired.
