Presently trying to set up BT Wireless Broadband, can't get the hub to talk to the computer (PC, Windows XP) either by wireless or ethernet.
Computer is upstairs, only BT socket is downstairs, currently connected by extension cable, which may be problem #1
Wireless may not be connecting because I'm unsure if the PC has a built-in adapter - how can I check this? Been into Control Panel/Network Connections but can't see any mention of wireless. Do I need a visit to PC World for a plug-in adapter?
Any pointers appreciated, don't relish a protracted conversation with Bombay/Delhi/Calcutta
