Broken bike

Has the driver admitted responsibility ?

Not that I'm aware of. Trying to get details from the Guards but proving slow to get to the right one. I was carted off in the ambulance before getting info from anyone except a courier who was following me when it happened - very helpful guy, retrieved stuff from bike for me while I was lying on the tarmac so I could phone the wife.

Had a similar smack on '06 myself, so I know how it feels. I did both wrists good and proper, and the left arm just to make absolutely sure. Hope you have a speedy recovery, and the driver puts his hands up. FWIW in my case the Gardai charged the driver with careless driving to which he pleaded guilty in court. Hope it goes well for you

Good to hear you weren't too badly broken and are on the mend. Had a wee incident myself this year - not an experience I care to repeat!
