So, was a bit ham fisted the other day and managed to break the clip on my heated seat connector. My dealer will take a look when it's in for a service but has anyone else managed to break theirs on what did you do to replace it? TBH - It's fine, it's not popped out but it's doing my OCD in. Be nice, please.

Could you disconnect it and get a picture of the pins?

The pictures on RealOEM are not the best but it looks like number 9 to me, and a silly price for what it is with a note attached that it's only for repair at the dealer.

There's got to be a better option than a dealer repair, or just slap a zip tie around it.

EDIT
I had a swift google and turned this up on ebay

Looks like it could be a winner.

I have an interest in this too as my bike does not have heated seats, but I would like one and the Hex EZcan can run heated gear linked to the heated grips setting, I see no reason why it can't run a heated seat the same way.

Here you go. Brilliant idea about looking in RealOEM, BTW. The first one is the connector on the seat.

The connector that I broke is at the loom end and looks more like number 7.

Other than being green on the ebay one and white on yours they look identical to my eye, you should be able to take the broken one apart and simply push the pins into the new housing. the pins supplied with the new one will show you where the locking tabs are.

Agreed, and before taking it all to bits, I can try the new connector with the seat connector, to make sure it's the right size.

@Stonesie That won't work AFAIK - on my Ezcan II, manufacturers advised me to use one of the light circuits for wiring in a Wunderlich Heated seat on my 2019 R1250GS

Nice to know and I've got one on the way too.

Interesting, if anything that's even better as it gives independent control of the seat. Thank you...
My shopping list is growing for this bike and I haven't even got it yet.

May have found a white one... Have ordered that one now as well.

It doesn't fit, so back to the green one.
