Buggered old geezer does France...

You really need to hang about round there until Tuesday, Tour de France day....you'll love it

Do you know, just seen 2 artics head through Murol, all coloured up and obviously part of the tour circus, hooting and hollering, with the locals cheering them on and waving! Artics!
Whats the matter with these folk? :D

Hmm...blessed with climate in ways that Scotland isn't.....we had a wee tour up to Dalaison...St Christphe sur Dolaison, Dolaizon, which is where the camels were....
Lovely wee lanes..

A lovely day today.
Made our wzy through lovely quiet lanes....those near Murol had legions of campervans parked on every available bit of verge, cooncil workers with road sweepers, blower etc, so I concluded some peddly bike extravaganza must be headed this way.
And on through the rolling Auvergne hills to the Monts de Cantal...a disused volcano..up to Puy Mary

The MRA routeplanner is brilliant. Did routes and popped them in to the Nav6; they/it worked fine.
The MRA nav app however...work in progress and not to be depended on sadly.
A couple of times after restarting the car and navigation it told me Ineeded an account, and required that I log in again. It also through another wobbly and went to grey screen mode a couple of times.
The lady doing the nav directions went to the Winston Churchill French School...quite amusing.

A bit of a dry ship there.

The foie gras was ...again ...irresistible, and having eaten its liver I felt obliged to eat the rest of it...
I'm reading that while having visions of Anthony Hopkins in a cell, Gerry! :eek Looks highly edible though! :drool Lots more food pics please!
