It's a standard twin-filament stop/tail auto bulb. You'll get one at any motor spares shop or garage forecourt.

The original equipment fitment is an Osram long-life bulb.

If you wanted to be super-trick, try getting hold of a Stanley 'supported-filament' bulb (fitted OE to Honda bikes).

But, as Steve says, you can get a bulb that would work on virtually any street corner. Dare I suggest (seriously!!)?

Thanks for the help. Apologies for the newbie-style question but the teckkie stuff bores me to tears and my tail light has never blown before. What can I say, I've never looked for a DIN 72 601 in a garage before. Daryll, you're a 'lighting designer". Bulbs are your life.

My local Garden Centre does a nice range of bulbs as well.

Try tapping the rear light first, quite hard. It might come back on
