Well I got me seat back yesterday from Bum Wraps and I had my first 'over an hour trip' today and first impressions are that it's better than the Melvin Hunter seat. I'm nowhere near as sore as I have been on the same trip (2 hours there & back)...looks pretty good too - I'll take some pics later...

Basically I went in to see the guy that does the actual re-upholstery - he asked a few questions, watched me sitting on the bike and figured out the best seating arrangement for me. It does seem to be a better way of doing it rather than relying on a one size fits all arrangement - no matter which after market seat you go for. Quality seems good also...

I suppose that I shouldnt say that I told you so......... My current wheels has seats by Merv. he's had a second go at them but still not right so it down to Bognor to get it put right !
Mike.

BTW - I have a spare rider's seat (melvinised one) if anyone needs to borrow whilst yours is in getting done...pick up from Kent nr. Dartford and return the same.

NAdeem - Andy Cam had his seat modified by Bumwraps and is well pleased with it after nearly 2 years. The quality is excellent as you say and I think it looks top notch.

Nadeem. I just tryed to PM you but apparently I'm not alowed to do that. Can any one give me details of any of the guys who can customise the seat of the 1200. Idealy not too far away,I'm near that god forsaken hole they call Swindon 'did I say that? No not me sir' My seats both got ripped when my pannier was knoked off, so I recon it's a good time to make the front one comfy too seeing as I have to sit on it for 6 hours a day.

it's roughly 160 quid to change /re-mould the foam and new covers on both seats...they all do a mail order service if you're too far away to get into them.
