Morning all, SWMBO and me are off to Burgundy in the summer

. Were going to a place called Santenay, south of Dijon. We have a week to fill. Anyone have any ideas of places to visit ?. Bear in mind we dont do mega mileage days.
If you have a Garmin GPS device, have a look at the 80 virees a moto sticky for the region. Lots of good routes as it is 'great roads, mate' territory.
Shift your carcass over to the Morvan, as suggested. Some excellent roads around there. I took a bunch of Tossers down to Dijon on one of 'Wapping's wanders' and we had a great time.
http://www.parcdumorvan.org/ The routes may be in the 'Wanders' section. If not PM me your email address and I'll send them to you.
Arm yourself with the Michelin Green guide, all the things to see and do are in it.... and some more besides... along with suggested and very reasonably distanced suggested routes. It's a popular enough destination for holiday makers of all sorts of colours and creeds, so half an hour on Google or a bit of time in the library or Waterstone's will have you plotting your own holiday just as YOU want it in just a wee while.

PS When saying where they are staying it's a good idea for bods to insert a Google map link to the
exact town. It saves kind hearted fellows having to look for it themselves or guess.... and France is a very big place.
Google maps looking for
Santenay, turns up only one:
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=San...Loir-et-Cher,+Centre,+France&t=m&z=12&vpsrc=0
It's a long way from Dijon..... 358 km to be exact..... and definitely not south!

I knew (or hoped) that couldn't be right, or the OP's geography was all to pot (it's not unknown).
So I then Googled, 'Santenay', which lead me too the Wikipedia page, from which I tried: 'Santenay Cote d'or' which lead me to a very nice website:
http://www.ville-de-santenay.fr/santenay/en/town/history.htm which gave me the post code address of
Santenay 21590.....
Which then lead me to
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=215...-d'Or,+Burgundy,+France&gl=uk&t=m&z=8&vpsrc=6
which is only 63 km from Dijon in a southerly direction, which must from the OP's description be the right place.

Much better if the OP can do a bit of the donkey work first, when looking for constructive and free help
