Took her into Shipley today nothing wrong with bike, no corrosion no problems at all.

Problem is with me, those years of rugby have knackered legs and I was finding slow moves a bit problematic !

Came away with a V Nice low milage F800ST (07 & blue) & it seems to fit my requirements and is FUN.

Have to say (& may not be what some posters agree with) that my 05 R1200GS is the best bike I have ever had and probably will have.

As this site is for GS enthusiasts I will still hang out on the site

Bahnstormers lent me an F800ST when my 1200 was having the engine/gearbox oil seals sorted under warranty.

Apart from having my legs tucked up a lot further than I initially found comfortable, I thought it was a cracking bike, nice engine, very manoeuvrable, and quite economical too. A fair bit lighter as well.

Was looking at the f800st myself a while back, very nice bike.
I know how you feel mate, dropping my 1200GS off tomorrow and picking up my new K1200R, can't wait!!

keep it rubber side down!
