I heard that the Caberg wasn't too noisy etc and tried a couple on at the weekend.

Was it me, or does the chin piece hardly lift off the face meaning that you have to peer under it even when it's open and raised? It was so poor it seems a waste of time having a flip front!!

The BMW S4 (and my old S3) seemed to lift far higher.....

Hi Moto

I have no problem with the lift, but I have yet to find one where the visor fits properly and yet they are pretty quiet, but with the visor gap they are draughty and they do do leak.
Although they are both light and robust, hope this helps a bit.

Caberg

I have one, the fit is good, my only gripe is that it fogs up a lot
but very good value for money.
Better and safer (in my opinion) to purchase a relatively cheap lid and change it often than splash out big money and have to use it for years

the flip front does lift to clear the face, when MCN tested the helmet they had the same problem the answer is to use a little more force, and then the mechanism free's up with use.
I'm on my second caberg and I find they fit very well and I have now added an anti fog visor, purchased at the Birmingham bike show, which works well
