Got room for one more? Although right now I'm at the "tbc" stage, not yet a definite.

Only on an F800GS so I'll be riding like a girl, obviously. :augie

On a serious note, regarding shipping bikes back to home, are you considering alternatives to the original plan of only shipping 10 bikes back in a container? To me it looks like this could drastically affect the overall cost, so it might be a showstopper for me.

If anyone wants to discuss this with me, since I haven't ever ridden a bike more than about 400 miles in a day before, or ridden across any national borders other than the ones on the A1, A68, and M74, my number's 07866 778768.

Wey hey :JB

And another one, just like the other one (sorry, old hippy song slipping in there). Nice one David :clap

I think at the rate we are going we will be hiring a whole ship, not just a container :D
IIRC Johnny got a quote based on 14 bikes. I'm guessing there are different sized containers so, within reason, I can't see the cost changing dramaticaly - also, given the ride is over a year away there are bound to be one or two that will have to drop out due to unforseens :nenau

Anyway, welcome aboard :beerjug:

I'll bring R1100GS. Its fitted with 41lt tank so can act as fuel tanker for other bikes. Its been to Morocco before so knows its way there. I've driven the route down to The Gambia with Plymouth Dakar Challenge in 2005 so know the fun of the border crossings etc.

Sid

Well done Sid welcome aboard buddy:clap:clap:clap:beerjug:
