I'll probably get lines or detention:blast

Here's an idea what about the kids designing the stickers

As long as you don't give them the you-tube linky you should be ok :D

Go for the sticker design, it'll be interesting to see the creative forces at work. Nothing like community involvement :thumb2

Raasay primary are in regular contact with a primary school in the Gambian district not sure which one I was told.
I never listrened to teachers when I was a kid and find it hard to change now:blast

Roger Hutchison who wrote the book Calum's Rd has already done a talk at the school and that's how the two primary's are in touch.

Like the pig idea Andres:D:thumb2

Nice one Johnny:thumb2 I am starting to get a real good feeling bout el tripo...... might be the drink talking though!

Seriously, Pal, I wish I was up your way, helping promote the trip.... the school-kids doing the stickers is a class idea. Both sets of kids being in touch with each other needs further investigation.... it's a sign man:jibber

I have been watching the thread bout you and Rab doing Rassay this week..... WTF happened? Did Aul Callum make the Road that bloody dangerous, or was it icy at the time? (Or is Big Rab just a crap rider? :nenau )

Can't wait till the end of August, to hopefully call over to see the start line.

I was talking to Thunder earlier and I might be buying my Gambia Tent this week.... so I might just be changing the bunk bed to a tent pitch (On the Skye bunkhouse get together in August )

......... I have not camped in 10years and even then, it was only for a total of 2 nights.

oh.... and check it out...... I now have a "just giving" site.....

Wednesday is a year to the day, apparently. So, that's when I am gonna pitch my fundraising pitch..... watch this space :aidan

Well after thinking about this for a while and speaking to Mr Oonyack yesterday you have another +1 for the trip.

Jan 2010 is my 27th and the date I had orignally planned to leave for a long ride. Going to america/canada then south america crossing the cape town and back up. Now decided to reverse that trip.

After getting to Gambia I'll just carry on heading south!

Fantastic stuff wish I could join you the rest of the way:clap

Welcome aboard :beerjug:

I am still a possible for the trip guys, I still need to get approval from the powers that be and I will be going to head office on the 19th, which is where I need to start the begging.

If I don't get permission then I will still make some sort of contribution to the trip:thumb2
