Cambrian Rally 2009

There's very good showers and amenities at the rugby club, I think i saw electric hook ups last time we were there and is cheaper :augie

Word of warning, the showers in the main block are very good, they will pin you to the floor if you're not careful! Make sure you take some footwear though, as typically for a rugby club, the floor tends to be awash.
Don't drop your clean shirt on the floor, like Grimmy did. :D

No, not even had my entry confirmed yet...:mmmm

Latest entry list doesn't appear to have you on Nathan, I'd give them a ring if I was you. :thumb
Ask them if you can ride with me, I'm on my own this year. (behind me obviously :-))
Hope to see you there.
Final instructions now posted on WTRA website.

How odd! They were there at 8.00 this morning, 'cos I printed them out. Not there now. :nenau
Can only assume there's a problem with their web page.
Saturday starts 11.00, Sunday 9.00.
The start are will be signed from Llyn Brianne dam.
Scrutineer before signing on.
What else do you want to know and I'll try to find it.

On the day

I got an email from Micheal (event secretary) last night saying that entries on the day would be accepted. He suggested printing and filling in the Appl form from the website before you get there, just to speed things up a bit on the day

The numbers seem a bit down on previous years and I don't think latecomers will be shooed away.

And the weather forecast for the next few days looks fabulous and a dry 2 day Cambrian Rally is about as good a way as it's possible to spend a weekend on a motorbike :beerjug:

South of France coast road Marsielle to Nice Blonde female on the back of a GS would be way more prefrible.

saying that I'll be in Wales trying to get a decent result. fingers crossed I need a win this year sometime :tears.

If its a blond that would go on the back of a GS with Brian, then I'll even take coming last. :D

Anybody know where the start is? The final instructions on the website seem to be a bit confused. I think they are cut and pasted from the Beacons Rally in August.

Evidently it is signposted from Llyn Brianne Reservoir using white signs to the start area in the Tywi Forest, follow all the other bikes and vans..... Thats my plan anyway.:augie

Looks like somebody has noticed today that the dates were wrong and corrected it. The directions were good.

Looking forward to it. And the weather's good as well!
