Cambrian Rally 2009

Moly I'm chasing you now as the mods on the 640 seem to have improved handling tremendously ;-) - although it defo needs more power.

No, no, no! It seems to have plenty of power as it is, you want to concentrate more on relaxing and enjoying the scenery :augie

On the trail bike debate - Bri did you ever run indicators or pillion pegs when you were in the Trail class?
Also I noticed that Boundsey didn't have a rear light! Maybe I should put a protest in ;-)

No your right i never ran indicators or pillion pegs when in trail class it's one of them rules which is defunct really i'll make sure the 2010 regulations (which are being written now) this is clarified

The guy with the x challenge was in the sports cat because he didn't want to run with indicators and pillion footpegs (in case of breakage). When contacted, wtra officially said in an email that it would have to go as a sport, not trial as it says in the regs. If you read them. It was lovely fun and quite frankly my dear, I didn't give a damn which group I was put in! its all gone quiet over there! mr brian

Sorry I didn't get to talk bam bam, pleasure to see you though

Sorry if you took offence at me saying you entered in the wrong group i took a punt if you look around at the event's a lot of the trail bikes don't run rear pegs and or indicators a IMHO a trail bike is a sold over the counter trail bike and that does not change by removing 6 items.
i personnally was running trail bikes where almost nothing was standard on the bike and not having to put tthe bike into the sports bike class.
as long as you enjoyed yourself that's the most important thing.:clap

Many thanks to WTRA, we really appreciate the work you put in. :thumb

And thanks to Nathan and Phil, really enjoyed riding with you again.
Nathan, I owe you a tube, and 9 seconds.
Mark

Mark,

i'm not going to worry about the tube, and i doubt you'll worry about 9 seconds.

Before the final test, you had nearly an 80 second lead on me- told you i was riding like a pansy:ymca

The 2 days riding was fantastic, and saturday night in the curry house was also a good craic.

Thanks to everyone that made this such a good event :D

Nathan

None taken. I would have been happy being in the trail class. Next time I'll keep quiet and just send in the form. Quite happy to have finished in one piece with no breakages.
I'm commuting on it into London from Worcester all this week. So change the wheels and spray the chain; indicators , off we go! All the best Mr E

yes i did but kept breaking them so o dont bother it doesnt alter what the fact its a trail bike if your pushing me know it means i will have to try abit more or get 612 e husky to be more competative ,the bm is a bit on the cumbersome side

how can i be a senior member, Moly is a member he's way older than me (let's be honest he's older than time itself)

thats not nice , but true, i am thinking of a lighter bike next year so ican give the young ones a run for there money [thats the 40somthings by the way]

Bugger off! Stay in the "twins" category. (unless I do find a 950 owner willing to do a straight swap. :D)

Moly

I am so glad you are aiming to beat the 40 somethings, as I am younger than that and in the LADY'S Class :D

All I need to do now is finish a rally, without braking the bike or myself :aidan I must do better next time but at least I have now riden the DR off road ........ finally

If you see Moly ride a bike some of us think he should be in the Ladies class:D

remember my words as you where leaving get a lighter bike.

Moly i did notice that at another 2 day rally you only managed one day there seem's to be a reaccuring pattern here.:rob i did that smilly because it look's like he's holding one finger like the number of day's you can ride a bike without a week's rest in between. you at the buffet saturday for a few 's

lilith just keep trying and you will finish .brian i am entering the alto just the one day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moly, I'll sponsor you to do only one day of every two day event ;-)
We just need a joint effort on getting Boundsey into the Sports bike class - fancy going halves on buying him a 450 ;-)
