Yes, eurocamp have a site on lake Maggorie. Cheap and nice.

Plus the woman who works in the bar rides a GS and smuggles melons:thumb

Bella Italia, in Peschiera del Garda, got its own beach and just a short walk to the centre of town and the ferry:thumb2, good facilities when we were there about 8yrs ago.

Aye up mate. Last July 3 of us camped at camp magic lake, on lake Como ,just outside Dongo. This is an excellent campsite with great local restaurants, a bar on site and within 30 metres of the lake. It provides really good facilities and is very well priced

We we here last September.

It is right at the top end of Lake Como, so handy if you want to go and ride some passes, but a lot warmer place to camp :thumb2

The site is tidy and clean, has showers, pool, shop/bar etc, water and power to the pitch, bars and restaurants are a short walk away

To be honest the campsites around Lake Como and Maggorie seemed to be very limited, we spent hours looking for sites we had found on the internet only to find they were closed or for permanent residents. anyway this was the best campsite we stayed at during our holiday, we would happily go back.
