Campsites in the Borders

I’ve taken this week off work and the intention was to take my daughter, Jorja, up to Achmelvich (Assynt) camping from Tuesday to Friday.

Unfortunately the weather is not looking too great in that part of the country for the rest of the week but it looks far better if we where to head down towards the Borders. As my knowledge of part this of the country is shamefully poor, can anyone from this fine parish recommend any good campsites that they have been to that might be suitable i.e., not too busy, good walks , etc.

Theres a good site in Peeles called Rosetta go there regular with the family, just outside the town centre so near for walks food and the like,
