Hi folks!

Can anyone recommend good campsites in the Swiss Alps. We'll be coming into Switzerland via France and hope to dip into Italy at some point.

Any advice appreciated!!

Cheers
Andy

I stayed at a nice one just outside Zermat...

It's the very last one before the you have to stop - no cars in Zermat.

Can't rember the name but you cannot go wrong finding it and no booking required... shower block was good

Campsite in Switzerland

Just got back from there.
We camped at Silvaplana at the foot of the Julierpass near St Moritz. It is on a lake with great views. Quite high, so it is cool at night and not too expensive. Lots of good rides around there; thousands of bikers! Good access to Italy via Stelvio pass. Recommend the Pso di Gavia if you are heading towards Lake Gardia, its a bit of a gripper, narrow and twisty etc.

cheers
Danny
