A plating works on the west side of Edinburgh (preferably) ? ? ?

Its not for bike bits (yet . :mmmm) - My younger daughter gets married in June and we want to give her a 'lucky horseshoe'.

An old one from her horse, chrome plated, seemed like a good idea as it would mean quite a lot to her in years to come.

I just need to find a place that can do it.

I look forward to your replies.

Many thanks.

Thanks guys.

I had tried a couple of places without any luck so thought I'd ask the experts.

Neither of these places will tackle a horseshoe, but they each started me off on a chain ("try . . .") and after about six attempts I now have someone who can do the job:

Ronnie Duncan,
Kingdom Metal Finishers,
Fordel Industrial Estate, (sp ?)
Woodend,
Cowdenbeath,
Fife,
KY4 8WJ.

01383 610 799.

Around £35.00 to prepare, plate and polish an old horseshoe.

Maybe I'll take some bike bits over when I go :mmmm
