can i search for waypoints?

i'm struggling to find a way to search for waypoints already created in the On My Computer list of folders on LHS of the basecamp screen.

anyone know of a way to do this?

do you have a top level folder called "My Collection". I think that contains all the data you have in all the other routes, folders, favourites etc. At the bottom left of basecamp is a search box. But it can also be set to filter for routes, waypoints, tracks etc when you are looking through "my collection" for something etc. I think...What I have noticed recently when planning routes, is that if the waypoint/favourite you want to add is not in (part of) the folder/list you are working or planning from, then its not seen. Has to be dragged into the same planning folder,to show up. Hence try using my collection to find the waypoint and then drag it to the list/folder you are working in. Hope that helps?

A tip

Create a new folder in "my collections" and call it favourites or whatever and thyen keep all your waypoints in that (drag and drop) for use in future
