Cannot unlock maps on boot

Strange one - I updated my XT however now I get the pop up when it comes on cannot unlock maps, however I tried unticking all the maps in case one was the issue and it still comes up? Any ideas please? The XT works fine and you can set a route etc but the pop up is annoying

Have you tried uploading the maps again? Garmin Express is now 7.17.3.0, just updating mine, though no problems with my XT.

If those don't work, maybe a hard reset?

Good plan

Make sure Garmin Express is up to date and don’t rush it. Let it take its time (it won’t get any quicker looking at it every five minutes) and make sure you eject the device properly when it’s complete.

All sorted thanks, I had a software update then reinstalled the maps which it now works perfectly again without the annoying pop up
