So I'm looking at either the lindstrand quattra or rst pro adventure or the held hukana. So does anyone on here have any of the above and what are they like.
Had the Lindstrand quattra jacket and matching trousers for a couple of years and very happy with them. The water proof lining is separate which means:
+ve in hot weather you get VERY good venting. 30 - 35 degrees in Spain last year off road and stayed reasonably cool.
-ve if out and about and it rains it takes a while to get dry (in fact I take over trousers, but the jacket liner I just put on the liner and don't zip it in, under my jacket).
Waterproof liner is 100% water proof in my experience.
Venting is excellent with chest/back and thigh vents.
Crash protection - only fallen off, off-road so not a real test but all OK. My impression is the armour is as good as any out there.
Very comfortable for touring/standing off road.
Very happy with it and seems to be standing up to off road abuse!
Prices seem to have gone up a fair bit since I brought mine (for under £500).
I have the tan jacket and black trousers. IMHO tan trousers with the tan jacket looks a bit, well, "wannabe".
I don't have any good, close up photos of it but the black lines running down the jacket below are the wide vents that you can open.
cheers
