Can't download update on Mapsource

Despite following instructions from Garmin to reinstall Mapsource to a new directory I still can't download the latest update 6.11.0. Any ideas please from any of our experts

6.11.0 isn't the latest 6.11.5 for old machines, 6.11.6 for new computors. So it says here: http://www.garmin.com/support/mappingsw.jsp

Yeh you're right John, my mistake, that is the one I'm trying to download.

Just sent you a link to the direct download John....try that and skype me if it doesn't work

Have you tried asking it to "save" rather than "run" when you try the download? And then trying to open it in another location to the one you had it in previously?

Or, using the start- control panel - add / remove programmes reomove the old mapsource and try again. Best make sure that you have the original Mapsoource disks before you do it though Then on top of the old one eg 6.8 add, 6.11.6. Just a thought.
