cant open mailed routes

HI,

I am not able to open routes that have been emailed to me to import into my Zumo 550, when i try to open the file it states "the file does not have a program associated with opening the file, create an association in the Set Association control panel"

I realise that this is probably my home computers ( vista & XP) but im at a loss, trust me when i say i have searched all the normal avenues and tried everything i can think off

Any help would be appreciated

Open mapsource, then open the file from there?

Save the attachment to your desktop, right click the file, select 'open With' and then select Mapsource from the list of programmes (if Mapsource isn't in the list, select 'choose programme' and fnd it in the next list). If you check the 'always use this programme' box, your computer will remember the association.
