Hi Ileumi, it's easy enough to make one yourself.
Do a search for manometer. :thumb2

Join the two inlets together with a length of clear plastic tube in a U formation below the engine, partially filled with oil. When the levels are the same, the carbs are balanced...:rob

And if they're not balanced, couldn't the oil be sucked up into the harder working carb / pot?

Yup , certainly does. I used petrol additive as on more than one occasion it was sucked up before I could do anything about it !! I ended up with about three metres of tubing with the centre on a long U bend on some wood...heath robinson but it is 100% accurate !!

A 1200 owner would faint if this 'tool' was found in his garage !! :D

A shot of Redex never harmed an engine to my knowledge... :augie Just pinch the tube to see if it pulls too hard & adjust...

Too volatile, flashes off easy...;) I prefer the natural damping viscosity of oil. Purists would use Dwyer manometer oil but that's a bit spensive. Then, use watcha got I spose...:thumb

Carb balance

I use Davida gauges, not cheap, but brilliant and neat.

I have a 4 set, as I have 2 BMs therefore 4 cylinders:augie
Okay, I used to have a four cylinder bike:D
I had a set of mercury style in the past, but prefer these gauges, I find them easier to use. The company is great to deal with too. No I don't work for them:blast

Easy to read, because they sit nicely across the seat or handlebars and the pipes are long enough for any bike.
