Has anyone got an opinion on these?

Looking for a simple easy to use wireless intercom, no need to link to a GPS or phone, just for use as an intercom.

If they're any good and someone's got one for sale .....

Not got one for sale Bob, but a bloke at work uses them and swears by them. He uses the "Teamset" to talk to his pillion, listen to radio or MP3's, answer his phone etc., connected via bluetooth to his Zumo. Also uses them via a radio to talk to his mate bike to bike. He claims that it is clear as a bell up to 80 mph, but then he does claim that his (new style) Tiger is the best bike in the whole world ever. :D
He has had a problem with one of the units in wet weather though.

Used 1 for Year now
Intercom on permanent connection works great, but voice activaton can be suspect
Directions/MP3 from 550 Zumo have been fine
Have also used with phone
Like most Bluetooth devices you suffer unexpected dropouts
Lord Gawthorpe told me about a new HIAB that's Bluetooth remote controlled that will overpower any other nearby bluetooth device, so watchout by building sites !!!

Overall it's performed well and met expectations

I've just bought this set and it won't connect to my tomtom go 750 live. Apparently tomtom only allows headsets to work with the rider tomtom product. Not happy. The scala looks good quality and voice coms work easily.

Do your homework as i seems a black art to find a headset which will work with a GPS.
