Just got an email from our TRF RoW Officer:
Ace Cafe London has received the below information from the organisers of
the annual Cassington Bike Night in respect of this year's event that was to
be held (to include with a run from the cafe) on the evening of Monday 27th
June. A very sad read.
"It is with deep regret that due to circumstances beyond the control of
British Motorcycle Riders Club (Oxford) we are cancelling this years bike
night. This is primarily driven by the fact that the size of event has now
outstripped the clubs resources to manage it, particularly in the light of
the road safety concerns raised by WODC which cannot be ignored.
We realise that this is fairly late but we have been working hard to try and
address the issues raised but ultimately it has not proved possible to find
solutions.
We would like to thank you for your support in previous years as without it
the event would not have grown to be the success it has.
Once again and on behalf of the club please accept our apologies."
