Cast wheel colour... quick poll

Trying to get my hands on some cast wheels... might have them coloured

If I had a black GS, there would be no debate, but since I have a blue/white one, which colour wheels (IF I have them sprayed)?

(excuse my quick crude mock-up... didn't have much time!)

i think black looks very good... but if you do this computer stuff for a living , and i'm thinking about putting alloy wheels on my black 1150gsa, could you perhaps superimpose a set of alloys/black alloys on an image of my bike.... bit cheeky, but if you dont ask ?.....thanks

If you have search there's a few on here already. Think there was a blue set for sale a while back. Seem to remember there being images of them on the bike. I thought they looked qute nice for Tesco Value effect

i am selling mine,all the bolts/speedo drive/satin black alloys as new tyres,£500 the lot.if interested i can email you some photos of them on the bike,paul/bham.

I love the look of the matt black alloys on my GS but, if I had a blue/whiteversion, I'd match them with the bike's colours. Pacific blue front wheel & alpine white rear, like the Boxercup bikes...

Thinking I might go a slightly retro racer look... (with minimal money and alteration!)

First off, the cast wheels and new 'short' stubby (thanks Pipey!), removal of rear fender and new small front fender...

Then have them powder coated black...

Looks better without the box...

Then sympathetically create some space with the clever application of a custom decal...

Add custom number decal...

And I suppose a couple more on beak and (realistically) add back on the box

...without having to resort to buying/spraying new parts... except the wheels

I'd drop the decal and keep with the black wheels, the decal takes away the lines of the bike IMHO.

I picked up a set of wheels and bits yesterday, and I'm sticking them on till the tyres are done then hopefully get them plastic coated black (satin if possible ?),
changing the swing arm, torque bar and FD to Satin black as well (all credit for this goes to Den an his awesome looking bike),
with either top box off or using a small roll bag to carry the bits I like to have with me an possibly removal of the screen and beak extension (not too sure about this bit ?) this will all go on a silver 1150GSA with fitted out with GS shocks,

Quite obviously our thoughts are at complete opposites cos that looks absolutely rank.

The blue wheels looks pretty good to me. The one I'd seen on here like that also had colour matched side panels, and I think it had a closer mudguard also colour matched and as a whole looked pretty sleek for a Tesco value.

Also like Paul's idea of Blue front/white rear, that would go really well. Add polished edges like Speedy's, in fact just colour his centres blue and white as the rest is all there I'd be proud to own that.
