Catalunya motogp June

Hi all,
Heading to Barcelona in June for the moto gp. Looking for some good bike friendly places to camp in the Pyrenees. Any advice regarding camping and routes would be appreciated.
So far we are thinking of heading from Cherbourg down the west coast through La Rochelle staying the first night in royan area then heading for San sabastian to start the Pyrenees trek.
All advice welcome.

Always camp at Biescas ( camp Gavin)
Really nice spot , been there a few times
a free bottle of vino tinto with every meal , would recommend

If you were to go via Biescas then using the N240/N260 route you would also find yourself going near La Pobla de Segur.

We have camped here at http://www.collegats.cat/en/

The campsite is owned by Jordi and have always had a good stay here.

Typically we use this as a base camp as we tend to ride off road, up into the mountains around Tremp.

There is a small bar and restaurant on site, but lots of local shops or supermarkets local or in nearby Tremp if you fancy cooking etc.

Definitely bike friendly as there has been the odd rally based there.

Me too but not to the gp ,I'll be just making my way across the pyrenees from the ferry and then making my way to salou for a week With swmbo and snotty nose teenager and then make my way home again .
Wild camping a lot of the time and the second weekend of July there's a couple of le tour stages in the area ,so if the stars align I'd like to catch one of them .
