Yes, 1st bike I've had with this 'feature' however if you get on the bike and then push it forward off the centre stand with both feet it seems to work (assuming your legs are long enough to give you enough purchase!)

I'm fairly certain my 1150 handbook says something similar.. but I'm not going to start hauling my bike up on the centre when it's loaded with all my camping gear, just to get another cup of fuel in.. I'm rebel....

If the floor is slippery, ANY centrestand will slide forward. I took my GSA to a workshop with a shiny floor a few months ago, and looked like a right knob on it
