I ve changed my own tyres for years now, a £50 saving and the time saved messing about is worth it to me.

Ive got a sealy rig which is better than just levers but tbh its still a bit of a fight,
lots of people said its better with warm tyres which is kind of obvious but they aint always warm when u you need it so i came up with this and 30 mins in here and they are to hot to handle for long.

It works put a brand new tyre on with 2 strokes of a lever:thumby:

I forget that I've left the bath running sometimes.

If I did this, I'd probably burn the place down.

LOL

Yeap all of the above is possible for me as well:clap:augie

just done the rear and it went on sooo easy :bow

I've just had a rear tyre fitted at my local tyre dealer, £12.00 fitted, balanced and new valve, inc disposal of my old tyre, bought the tyre off internet for 82 quid delivered, (original tourance) can't see the point of fitting it myself at that price.
Do you really pay 50 quid to get tyres fitted?

well no i dont, I used a bit of artistic license there, I save around £50 quid by getting them from tyreleader etc,

most tyre places dont like changing tyres they dont supply Ive found, anyway the hassle of taking the tyre to the place etc is worth doing it mysen alone, I dont want to talk to anyfucker if I can help it. also if a rim gets marked I will be mighty pissed off and they will just shrug their shoulders, if I mark it myself Its my fault for being a cnut.

I get the valves for nowt but i dont bother changing them all the time tbh, why do it when theres nothing wrong:nenau Ive never had one fail in 40years.

Disposal is free also as I chuck them in the skip at work:green gri

It was tyreleader that I used. Good prices.
My dealer us pretty good. He does say that he makes about the same money if he supplies the tyres or if I bring them in with loose wheels. Very helpful.

Ive been happy with TyreLeader. Fitting costs me £15 a wheel balanced and old tyre disposal. If they feck the rims they pay so I prefer to not DIY the tyre fitting.
