So if my dealer can offer me a older bike for free whilst paying normal BMW dealership prices then dont you think if somebody else is paying £15 then they should get a newish bike? I do.
Lugs:
Depreciation - there is none to worry about as after 4 years they own the bike outright and any equity in the bike is additional profit
Servicing - what about the other 8k they have spare????
Tyres - ditto
Interest - if a dealer cant get a good rate then who can, and in more cases dealers will no doubt own their demo bikes outright.
Zero
In order.
Depreciation? They never keep bikes for that long. Ever. It is possibly an old shitter they had as a px. Probably just a spare they keep for emergencies.
Servicing? The magic oil fairy doesn't exist. Oil costs.
Tires? Ditto. The tyre fairy packed it in years ago.
Interest? Come on. Even a good rate on a stocking plan from a major finance house costs. And if they own them outright, which they don't, then its a depreciating asset that needs funded.
Trust me. They are NOT a profit centre. Ever. Ever. Ever.
Also, I dont think your in a position to tell people to grow up when the most you know of a person is what they type after the pub has closed. Where is your web etiquette?
What do you mean? Have I upset the etiquette?
And if you work out it... our calculations are the same as I based mine over 4 years or running the bike.
Currently it would seem demo bikes are purchased at around 8-10 years old and they ran for a further 4-6 year.
Demo bikes are not that old. Thats what we would call an old shitter.
I dont have a problem with this one little bit
Yes you do!
, but if I were paying for a loan bike then I would!
