35000 miles on Hagons and I'm still pleased with my choice

No, they are different lengths.

I have recently fitted GS shocks to a GSA. The GS and and GSA units are exactly the same length. The GS actually feel longer because the springs are stiffer (less static sag).

The front is improved but really not much considering the old GSA unit has 63K miles and has to be 90% ****ed. The back is much better. The old GSA was tired out - kicking back on rough roads and pattering on concrete motorways.

Overall handling is better but not much. The GSA softer springing pays dividends on U.K. B roads (not to mention Devon's A roads). The GS ride is harsh.

On the GS or GSA shocks, I'm far more likely to get into trouble riding too fast for the road than I am riding too fast for the bike's abilities.

Sent somehow.
