Chigee AIO 6

I agree with you on the wireless charging.

My car has wireless charging (like most these days)......but because I use Android Auto constantly......if the phone needs some power through the day, I connect it to a lead.

Going back to my post of yesterday re the 6 and Huawei P30 Pro... is anyone running the same set-up?

Arguably, the easiest solution is to have the vehicle power the phone, not least as a vehicle has a surplus of power, which otherwise just goes to waste.

Then mount the phone, out in the breeze, where (like your plums)) should be cool.

How long do peeps find it takes for the AIO6 to boot up and connect to their Carplay?

Compared with my Carpuride 702 (which was almost instant) it takes quite a while.

Not got the experience with the AIO-6 but my AIO-5 probably 2-3 seconds…

My Carpuride can take 15 - 30 seconds to connect to Android Auto.

The unit itself boots up immediately.

It boots up quickly, but connecting to my phone to boot up the CarPlay typically take over a minute.

Mine takes a while as well. 30sec plus sometimes. I assume is AA related.
Start AA on your phone without the Carpuride being powered up and see how long it it takes.
I just set off and let it do its thing

Boot up is quick on my AIO 6. Problem is the battery drain on the phone but luckily I have a charge point in my top box and that works fine. No issue with connecting through the Ali top box to Chigee

Probably stop using my Nav6 as I find the extras such as Spotify, phone etc on the Chigee much more useful.

Will always have have the Nav as back up in case the Chigee breaks down.
