A few months ago I bought a Chigee AIO5 Play to fit on my Himalayan.

Retail price is £307

I also bought the TPMS

I got the AIO5 discounted for £255 and the TPMS for £50.

If you want the AIO5 Lite with cameras , it’s £458

I recently bought the Aoocci C6 Pro for my Voge.

Retail is £168

But that includes cameras and TPMS, and a sun visor for the unit.

Both the cameras and TPMS look identical to the Chigee offerings.

So the Aoocci total price is £168 and the Chigee is £530 !

If you use code LCR22 you get 22% off bringing the total Aoocci package down to £136 !

I’d say that’s a bargain !

The Chigee screen is 5” and the Aoocci 6.2”.

Resolution seems a bit higher on the Chigee and the build quality a tad more posh. You also get physical buttons on top of the Chigee to change displays whereas it’s all done by touch screen on the Aoocci.

Both units come with all the kit you need to mount .

This is what you get with the Aoocci (Chigee is similar )

The camera leads for the Aoocci are actually better quality than shown in photo above and come with extension cables and very good quality waterproof connectors .

I used the Chigee on my Himalayan on a 1500 mile trip to Spain and it was faultless. So far I’ve only used the Aoocci locally but it seems to be just as good.

So, to sum up, the Chigee is a bit higher quality but the Aoocci has a bigger screen and costs less than 1/3 the price of the Chigee.

And with the discounted price of £136 for everything , I’d say it’s a bargain .

Got the Aoocci on a slow boat (it seems) from China.

Considering swapping out the XT for one, but the XT is plumbed in and works very well and fast. I like that Chinese has Waze - thats great for riding abroad, but to be honest my go-to is MyRouteApp - it's absolutely brilliant and glad I signed up to the lifetime member when it was cheap. I believe that works on Aoocci too.

I have a C5 on order (£119.10 bit of a bargain) Is it possible to download software via Google Play Store such as the BMW Connected App?

No, these units can’t have apps loaded onto them at all. They use CarPlay or Android Auto to mirror apps on your phone. Sadly the BMW Connected app is neither Apple CarPlay or Android Auto certified
