Saving the pennies for a pair of SMH10's at the moment, but was wondering if anyone has tried a pair of the much cheaper chinese intercoms that are available on eBay?

Want a pair for myself and my good Mrs. Distance wont be an issue as we normally go at her pace on the 125 so its easier to stay together.

Don't waste your money, we went through a few of the Chinese ones off Ebay before getting the SMH-10.

Save up and go straight to the Sena

I've used some of the Wouxung sets for a couple of years under the seat of the 1200 and 800 with no issues. Nice little set.

Martin Lynch are stocking then in the UK now at similar prices to the fleabay world - www.hamradio.co.uk

I think the Op was looking for Bluetooth units.

However, good call with the PMR radios, have been running a PX888 plumbed into my Autocom for a couple of years now. Works really well over greater range (esp. with the BO antenna kit) and it doesn't matter what brand of PMR radio the other guys are using.

yep, run my 888 thru remote antenna mounted on number plate...seems to work a treat judging by the number of 'plane crashes around here:D:blast
