So can anyone tell me the techical difference between these two.
I see the Street Piolt range uses Nav and iQue/Quest use the Select.
Cheers

I don't know and there's nothing obvious on the Garminn website to illustrate the difference.

My suspicion is that CN has many more points of interest - but that's only guess work.

As a starting point, it would be useful to know:

  • What is the total file size for v7 Euro City Navigator, inc navigation data?
  • What is the total file size for v7 Euro City Select, inc navigation data?

Unless anyone beats me to it, I'll measure ECN when I get home this evening.

City Navigator 7? When did that come out? I've just bought a 2610 with CN6. Maybe I'll get a free upgrade....?

if you bought it after jan 5th.

CN has more detailed routing information than CS. Only the Streetpilots are able to take advantage of this extra information.
eg "At the roundabout, take the exit marked XXX" rather than "At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit"

Thought the street pilot software might be better, have shared some routes with others who use Select, the routes don't seem to follow the roads correctly slightly off line.
Thanks for the comments guy's.
