I have started getting bti water in through my belstaff gear in extreme rain.

I has been washe din past by me in clean water only but now i think time give it right clean

So anyone know supplier that sells the cleaning agent and the wax to put on text clothing to re waterproof them again

Don't wash the clothes in normal washing detergent. This has chemicals that reduce the surface tension of water to help it soak into the cloth during washing, it will leave residue that will compromise any waterproof treatment that you then subsequently apply.

You either want to get something like NikWax TechWash, or do as I do and use pure soap flakes. These don't leave the same residue and allows any subsequent waterproofing treatment (like Nikwax TX-Direct) to do it's job properly.

ya i just wash them in machine but dont put anything in. usually let machine run 1 empty cycle then throw gear in with no powder r anything justwhot water

If you're going to the trouble of re-treating, then it's worth giving it a proper clean with something more than just water (eg soap or TechWash). Any dirt that's ground into the fabric will also result in the water having a tendency to soak into the cloth.

I always bought nix wax clothing wash & waterproofing for my gortex walking jackets and ski gear in millets in blanchardstown. Its closed down now but i reckon you'd buy it in 53 degrees north. Nixwax have a huge range of products.
