Just put some Wunderlich carbon effect yoke protector pads on my 2009 GSA's top yoke to cover marks left by keys during its previous ownership. Annoyingly, they don't cover all the marks :blast so is there any way to remove the other marks? Will Autosol do it? Don't want to make it worse than it is already (actually, it's not that bad but I'm a fussy bugger!)

Not to my knowledge, I've tried allsorts on used bikes I've bought

Sort of respraying, not a lot works

Pisses me off big time, why do some owners put so many keys on the bike's ignition key and fuck up the top yoke finish

Lazy feckers:blast

you can get a carbon effect sheet A4 size…use the yoke protector you have as a pattern and make it bigger were required to cover the marks !

I suppose this is were keyless ignition will have its ONLY advantage

why oh why let you keys while about in the ignition? - there I said it :)

Can't be arsed to split my keys. The "damage" you refer to makes fek all difference to residual value of bike after 3yrs ownership from new. Bring on the keys....someone else's problem once bike has been chopped in :-)

I knew you'd be one of 'em:D

I had same issue with my 13 plate anniversary, foooking annoying, I used silver grey tee cut car polish, bit of effort required and several coats but most of it came off.

Splitting keys is for fair weather riders - I want all the keys I use for the bike in one ring because when I ride it's normally because I've got stuff to do.

Marked top yokes are the signs of a worker, the people that keep this country moving wear your scares with pride

Ha, at least some of us feel the need to care

You're only busy because you commute into that there London on a bike

Your life is work,work,chop,chop,busy,busy

Up here we are civilised and can use the car in winter, as we please

We have no traffic jams on country lanes so our bikes can come out on fine days for pleasure :)

Merry Xmas Wreford

Personally I find its the sodding Bmw key ring that does mine, only have one key on it and still scuffs it up. still, if you don't like it and it "boils your piss", makes you wonder who's the dick that bought a bike that annoys them so much.:blast
