And I must say, my new bike feels... like a completely new bike!!
Engine is so much smoother now, its unreal! No hand-numbing vibrations like there was before it went in. Gearbox feels much more slick going through the gears too. And they wired in an ignition live source for me to add my accessory loom
They also told me the new 4v boxter engines don't have valve clearances done at the 600 miler like the older boxter engines, and that its done at 6k instead. They did however change the FD oil as part of the service.
Next service now due at 6994 miles (as it went in at 994 miles as I've been enjoying it far too much to just leave it at 600), but Steve (service man personage at SSB) said its better to get nearer to 1k miles before its first service, just don't go over it.
Also cost me £158 all in (bought a fender extender for the front, and also a brace bar for the bars at the same time (but didn't want the BMX cushion with it though)) so without those the first service only cost me £103 so not too bad
