Discount in a BMW store ??

Last year I went into Calterdons, as I was buying complete out fit after having an off. I had Streetguard 3 trousers and jacket, so fancied a new set.

I asked parts man if I bought jacket, trousers, boots, gloves and helmet what sort of discount I could expect..............no discount we don't discount clothing...... so I left and bought Rukka.

Have a look at Halvarssons. I just got the Prime jacket for winter. Available all black or with a lot of very light grey. Also has a removable hi-viz part for when you feel it's needed, or indeed to use all the time and take off to wash without having to wash the jacket.
They do a few different trousers with a full waist zip to attach. I got the Safir which is leather & textile.

Wrong dealer, got a nice discount for a new SG4

Try the new BMW Streetguard 4 jacket, just got one & it's a great bit of kit & if you ask around you may get a BMW dealer to give you a decent discount

No, just the SG4 Jacket, as my StreetGuard 1 Proshell Goretex trousers fit the suit perfectly, as do my Atlantis 3 nubuck trousers

The full zip fits both which is really helpful

In reality, I only needed the jacket as my SG2 had faded badly and turned from black to brown and whilst fully functional, looked awful

Bought the whole SG4 suit last Saturday, must say that I'm impressed! Got a 5 hour trip on Monday so that should give it a good test.

Looks, feels and is a quality bit of kit, and at £500 discounted, a bargain.

I bought a pair of Rallye Pro 3 trousers for £100 and got 25% off a Rallye Pro 4 jacket yesterday at the BMW dealer. So less than half price for the full suit.

I've found my Spada Dakar jacket & trousers to be decent stuff.

I am about to buy some new clothing ready for the winter. I'd love the BMW stuff but I can't remortgage to buy it plus the missus isn't keen on me wearing BMW kit whilst riding a BMW as she said its nerdy or something, (I switched off after a while)

I like the look of the touring style clothing with the light and dark patches similar to the BMW stuff as all black just looks boring to me which seems to be the common colour. Any ideas? What do you guys and gals where. I have a dark grey RT.

Soft Lad I made a long and lengthy reply to this comparing it with my old Wol, Rukka and Klim Badlands. The reply was lost somehow, but in short but the Klim Badlands is is a solid investment and has great guarantee. There is a sale on at the Adventure Shop where they are (were) several hundreds cheaper, a sound investment. I ride long journeys but not as long as some.

Hi people, I visited Motorcycle Live today and bought myself a Richa Adventure 2 jacket and pant combo. It was well priced and looks the part with it also having many many great features. Thanks for the help and advice though.

Oh and a tip to the 3 motorcyclists I followed out, when the massive signs say "Congestion, Use Hard Shoulder" its OK to use it.
