On a bike... somewhere!
This has happened twice to me. The first time wasn't as bad.

Sitting at a roundabout, inching my way forward in 1st trying to see if it is clear when the bike lets out a screech and lunges forward about 2 meters. Fortunately there was nothing coming.

I could feel the clutch lever vibration when the clutch bit.

Called the dealership and got the usual "never heard of that before"

Any one have a similar episode?

Adjust your clutch lever to suit the reach of your fingers and the angle of your wrist.

Whilst I don't have the bike now it happened twice to me. As I took off in 1st balancing revs and clutch it bit hard. I took me totally by surprise and the anti wheelie kicked in.

On the other occasion it was also in 1st gear, similar result. Garage response was the same as the OP. Was it me or the bike causing this ? Well Ive changed back to a twin cam with no electronics ( including ABS ). Have not had that problem since.

Yes the clutch lever was to my liking.
