Hi All,
I have just got back from a trip round France, nice place and fantastic roads, lovely food etc.
While cleaning the bike I noticed that the underside of the engine as very oily, and there was some ‘weeping’ from the clutch actuator. I have had the ‘clutch actuator oil seal’ replaced (and clutch) at 11K ish miles under warranty and it looks like it has gone again, the bike is just sub 18K miles.
I don’t think that a seal that will require some major stripping down (most of the back end should be removed to change the seal) every 10K ish miles. It doesn’t support the ‘unstoppable’ advertising slogan the bike has been labelled with.
Has anyone had experience of repeated failure of this seal?
cheers
Mark
