Needed a clutch pushrod for a job that's currently being worked on and knew i had a few spares..... been a long time since i've been through my my old stock of airhead clutch parts and didn't realise i had so many tucked away :D.

what happened to all the bikes they came out of?

Feck knows. It's the accumulation of more than 30 years worth (check out the rust on some of them) of the bits and bobs that get kept because they "might come in handy" one day.

I never throw anything out, hence the nickname "Steptoe". :D

:D OK -if you are in the business of repairs then I guess hoarding is in the genes! It would do my head in though :)

I'll have you know some of the old shite i've kept is now very rare and highly sought after.

I once bought a very slightly cosmetically damaged R80 for £60 for breaking as spares.. And plenty of others around the £100 range..
