I have a 1150 gs Dec 01 .19000 mls .with hydrolic clutch lever , the extent of clutch in & out is at the top half inch so is becoming difficult to control with constant stalls in trafic . the clutch itself is performing ok . the qwestiun is ... is there any adjustment on the lever apart from the 1,2,3.wheel ? please help ! Dog
 
I think there has been postings like this in the past (probably deleated now) where the hydraulic pipe develops a small hole causing the clutch to slowly lose travel...from my rapidly diminishing memory so may not be to accurate.

Tried a search ,you were right looks like any info relevent to my prob has been deleated I need some help from a gser with knoledge of clutch ..Wot I need is more travel on the lever dont see any leeks (never been to Taffland eeva):goof

I trust you mean that you don't have to pull the lever in very far before the clutch disengages?? The lever adjuster just changes the distance between the handgrip and the lever, as you probably know.....

As far as I know, the position the lever is in when your clutch 'bites' is an indication of the level of wear in the clutch (that's certainly true of my car). Whereas it's possible to adjust this on a bike equipped with a cable clutch (by adjusting the cable), I'm not sure that there's much you can do with a hydraulic one.
