Hi,
About a month ago I replaced my clutch cover as the cable mount had broken, which all went well.

Today I was looking at the old cover and in one of the recesses inside I found this bolt.
Any ideas as to where or what it is for.
Regards

That looks like one of the six bolts that hold the plate that secures the clutch friction disks/springs in position

ahh that explains it, that must have been stuck in there when the clutch was changed some 20k ago.
thanks for the reply

Thanks for the link I did check realoem out but couldn’t really make it out

The bolt is for the cam chain guide, no idea how it came out but it’s back in place now to tackle the clutch !
